What are some of the different roles available in the games industry? How do people end up working in games? What is the day to day reality of working in a video games studio? What inspires people to work in games?

These questions and more will be answered by some of the Payload Studios’ team! Join us for this online panel where our speakers will offer an insight into what it’s like working in different areas of the games industry and share their experience of working for an award winning independent studio.

This event would be ideal for students interested in forging a career in the games industry or for parents and teachers who would like to know more about the opportunities in the games industry and what some of these jobs involve.

The panel will:

  • Showcase some of the different roles available in the industry
  • Explore what it’s really like to make video games and work for a games studio
  • Discuss different pathways into the games industry
  • Answer questions from attendees
