Thurs 28th Jan 2021: Games Careers Week, the free online festival for inspiring people from every background to discover prospects in one of the UK’s most lucrative careers, has run a Town Hall meeting with over 160 attendees from games companies, universities, schools and 3rd sector organisations.
Into Games, BGI and Grads in Games ran through the vision for the festival, the challenges it’s trying to tackle and shared the format of the event with goals and methodology for running the first festival of its kind dedicated to games careers in the UK.
Those who missed it can review the slides here and are encouraged to run events during the week. The mechanism for submission of events will be shared with interested organisations in early March.
