Welcome to the Games Careers Week Image Library!

This library is a royalty-free image resource that highlights the diversity and opportunities in games careers. A collaborative effort from multiple games studios, educational institutions, and supporters, our aim is to change Google’s visual narrative about games careers.

Google Image searches currently feature almost exclusively white, able bodied/cishet males, and aren’t a true representation of the diverse creative talent this industry has to offer.

A career in games is not dependent on race, gender identity, sexuality,  being neurotypical, or able-bodied. As we continue to build more diverse studios and commit ourselves to change, we realise people need to be able to see people like themselves represented for an industry to feel genuinely welcoming and committed to supporting diversity.

So please, feel free to use images as you see fit – and if you’re a developer or studio that would like to contribute to the library, please feel free to get in touch!
