On the 15th of December, Into Games are running a free 1-hour online Parent’s Night – an evening of learning for parents to find out more about what a potential career in games for their children could look like and the starting blocks for getting there.

They’re running this event in collaboration with Creative Assembly, one of the largest game studios in the UK, and Andy Robertson – Author of Taming Gaming and founder of the Family Video Game Database.

Andy and staff from Creative Assembly will be talking about how children can build healthy and safe gaming habits, which games encourage children to unleash their creativity and build their own virtual experiences, and how parents can help their children to kickstart their journey into making games.

You can find out more info and sign up on the Eventbrite page here.

Games Careers Week is a free non-profit event organised by the National Videogame Museum. Made possible with supporter sponsor Boneloaf, and our proud partners: Grads In Games, NextGen Skills Academy, Women In Games and The Sheffield College.
