Gamebridge Student Games Festival
The Gamebridge Student Games Festival we will be returning to Anglia Ruskin University Cambridge, June 15th, for another fantastic day of talks, portfolio reviews, and the student showcase.
The event is focused on students, helping to provide them with the skills and opportunities to secure employment in the games industry. To that end, the event is about gathering talent from across the country, both students and industry alike, and giving them the space to network, impart advice, and show off their work. With the added benefit of over £5,000 of cash prizes thrown in!
The day begins with a number of talks given by industry professionals, covering a range of topics and disciplines.
The afternoon will present the opportunity for 1:2:1 portfolio reviews with students being able to choose to speak with industry experts from across a range of disciplines. Not to mention the centrepiece of the day, the Student Showcase where our industry judges will test, play, and examine the student submitted work in order to decide who will win the various awards and the cash prizes which come with them.
There will also be a roundtable discussion looking at the current state of the industry and providing advice, insight, and tips on how to deal with industry downturns.
